CISSP Educational materials now provided for free. San Antonio, TX August 22, 2008 — Logical Security Inc. recently revised its Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or CISSP, offerings to give students access to educational materials at no cost to them prior to participation in a five-day, pre-test training program. The move was prompted by a real need in the information security industry to have better qualified CISSP certified professionals, explained Shon Harris, president of Logical Security. “I have been in the ‘CISSP world’ for more than 10 years now,” said Harris. “I have taught it for about eight years for corporate and government agencies. The designation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense and other national security agencies.
